The Garments & Footwear Factory Owners Association of Nigeria (GAFFOAN) is an organized industry trade group representing hundreds of sewing companies, brands and their suppliers. We are a nonprofit and nonpolitical organized private sector group working to promote the growth, competitiveness, innovation and export readiness of Made-in-Nigeria fashion products and accessories.
GAFFFOAN is proactively driving access to finance, market and innovation in the fashion industry across Nigeria. We engage and partner with relevant government ministries, department and agencies to support members of our association and we are a reliable source of information on issues, events, government policies and programs that have to do with fashion business in Nigeria.
GAFFOAN facilitates trade between manufacturers and suppliers as an organized private sector to ensure that the interest of its’ members are protected both locally and overseas. We ensure that suppliers meet the required standard of our country on products manufactured abroad for the use our people
We provide advisory services on projects that have anything to do with fashion. We organize international trade fairs and work hand in hand with some development institutions, financiers and the government to execute startup and expansion projects in the Nigerian fashion industry
We believe so much in the dreams of our people. Hence we regularly engage policy makers, other trade unions, public and private business. We bring them to the table to discuss issues that are pivotal for the growth and development of fashion business in Nigeria and Africa at large
